She is a firm believer that when your inner work meets your outer work you’re on your way to creating magic.

Jodi takes us on a deep dive into how she sees alignment and the key differences between alignment and hustling. We talked about some phrases that you may be using subconsciously that could actually be triggering shame around money. Recipe for Magic with Tira Yasmine

Tira Yasmine is a poet, author, life coach, jewelry designer and entrepreneur. In this week’s interview she shares how her  grateful attitude has helped create what she calls her “recipe for magic”.

Part of Tira’s magic recipe is being a firm believer in God, which has resulted in  inner power and peace. This power and peace has propelled her into being an ardent change agent. She uses her art and writing to create holistic change,  a reflection of her belief that gentleness can also create effective change.

Interfaith, Creative Writing, and Magic with Alex Sullivan

Poet and editor Alex Sullivan is studying the ways religion and and culture interact, with a focus on postcolonial and diaspora studies.  So it was no surprise when our conversation this week went into the areas of interfaith work, and big vocabulary words like intersectionality.

This is also Alex’s birthday week so we couldn’t resist talking about cool magic spells, and some really terrifying things like reading poetry OUT LOUD.

Alex has her BA in both Religious Studies and Social Science, and is currently doing her Masters at NYU’s Center for Experimental Humanities.  She edits for GSAS literary journal Caustic Frolic and believes there’s beauty in everything and she is always looking for it.
